Artists' spirit keeps rising, even if our physical being happened to end.
Its technique, expression, passion and energy are going to be carried over to the next generation.
That would be an eternal event as long as whose spirit keeps uprising either who is alive or gone from this world.
In my work, "Japanese Spirit", I expressed my belief that soaring spirit is built by Japanese wisdom and resource, which also happen to be known as honesty and fairness, is the Japanese fundamental way of thinking even before Buddhism or Confucianism. In this black and white piece, I, indeed, made 14 original colors mixed more than 60 colors paints and mediums.
Hope viewers feel this uplifting positiveness for life and death in this pandemic.This new work is dedicated to all people who
suffered from coronavirus, who survived or who lost their lives especially to our president, Mr. Kunio Iizuka, who recently lost
his life to coronavirus.
